Your Paper Mache Photos

Your Paper Mache Photos 2

Well, it seems that I've run out of space on my main site to hold all of your paper mache photos!   So I've decided to add more space for you to show your stuff.      In fact, I'm dedicating this site to you and your paper mache creations.     Now look, I interpret paper mache VERY broadly.  After all, some people still use the traditional mashed or chewed paper mache methods.  Others use paper strips and paste, like me.   In fact, my own methods stray substantially from "traditional" paper mache.    I suppose my addition of a cloth "skin," (that I dubbed "cloth mache" in my first book, The Simple Screamer: A Guide to the Art of Papier and Cloth Mache, 1984, Gibbs Smith Publisher) might make my work more "mixed media" than paper mache.     Many of the paper mache projects on these pages were made following the instructions in my books or in my videos or on my blog.   But some weren't.   All this to say, I put any art on these pages that I like, even if they don't conform to what most people consider "paper mache."    It's my site, so I can do what I want.  Right?   I'm sorry if this offends any paper mache purists out there.

Thanks for looking.   Thanks for sharing!   By the way, if you got here without seeing my main site first, please visit me at Gourmet Paper Mache.
